...wow! - nice...and obviously you're a very quick (and nevertheless thorough) worker ...

In the kit the panels are cut and the holes drilled. it is not as clever as it seems but I have not told my neighbour this

Got up early to get on withthe build but it is too cold and wet for me so I am catching up with some pictures. It seems hard to believe that the sun was out a few days ago but here is photographic evidence.
This was a mistake. Getting the glass to go around the corner was almost impossible. I thought I could cut off the excess later - on my next one I will cut it to fit and then put a fillet over the ragged edge.
I could not get enough clamps to do both rails - it took more than I expected. It does not look as though it will matter. (too bad if it does because it is too late)

The sidepanels overhung the transom so I sanded them off to produce a perfect fit. I tried to line up the panels carefully when building but it tu7rns out to be best to have them overhang a couple of mm so that they can be trimmed for aperfect finish.

Luckily I have seen DVD - otherwise would have worried that it took longer to varnish than build the boat. I borrowed a barn but it took aweek. Farmer Guy thinks it is fantastic
