So far so good. Theoretically I think I've now got something that will float! Assembling the pieces has been pretty straightforward and everything fits really well. Applying the glasscloth and resin to the upper surface of the bottom panels was easier than I'd thought - largely due to Paul's advice, thanks!
Going by the amount of epoxy I've got left I think I've been overdoing the fillets (although I wasted a couple of batches when I lost confidence in my counting strokes due to distractions of one sort or another) - I suppose that makes them stronger but the boat heavier. C'est la vie!
Fillets took a lot longer than I'd thought and I think the result is ok so far, if a bit agricultural. Still, I'm learning as I go and the perpetually visible ones aren't too bad. Tanks next, but not much time for a few days...
I'm pretty happy with the look and design of the Peeler now that I see her in the flesh - and the instruction manual is great. She should suit me well as a pleasure craft for the odd day out and to take myself and my pal scuba diving around the west coast of Scotland. Plenty of room for gear and a nice shallow draught to get ashore in the more remote spots.

Hopefully getting the hang of this now. Used mixing stick to shape much smaller tacks...

Funny how life gets in the way... of life! A little more progress, a little later than I'd intended :-)
