Re: Supervised build weeks for 2012

Is it possible to know more about how the supervised build weeks are organised?

What time on the Sunday do proceedings begin?  And is there extended (24-hour?) access to the workshop for participants?  I guess all participants would bring their own set of domestic hand-tools, but is there a 'guaranteed' availability of workhorses, cramps, and other specialised bits of kit? etc etc

Re: Supervised build weeks for 2012

Our building courses include the following:
     - use of all tools, you are welcome to bring your own if you wish
     - use of all equipment required to build your boat
     - all consumables and safety equipment, though you are welcome to bring your own
     - workshop space, building stand
     - 'mentor' to oversee your build and instruct as appropriate
     - tea and coffee

Our courses do not include:
     - food and accommodation

There is more info on our Information pages here:  Supervised Build

NB:  You will build your boat, but due to considerable time pressures there will not be time to be a perfectionist and there may be a few little bits to do at home such as fit hatches or round over edges.  Ultimately how far we get is down to you.
