Expedition Wherry

I finally finished my boat this year. I built the basic frame on a 5 day boat building course in 2019 (excellent for a newbie) & intended to finish it spring 2020 but along came Covid. I’m a healthcare professional so it sat untouched for 18 months.
Constructing the skeg, comb & rub rails were straight forward. Top tip drill 1.5mm pilot holes, rather than 1mm, for the brass brads. I was nervous about cutting the hatches but the kit & instructions were very clear.
After another coat of epoxy, a lot of sanding & three coats of varnish I was ready to launch.30522000-F156-437F-9B53-7CE566A6726D.jpg

Re: Expedition Wherry

Good to see it on the water, Charlie!  I'm sure it was worth the wait.
