Re: 20 ft sea going rowing boat

A great blog about a cracking project!

I love the sandals nailed on to foot-braces, that is a classy touch.

Bravo!

Re: 20 ft sea going rowing boat

here are some shots from this springs trip to scotland, hope you enjoy them
IMG_2537.jpgIMG_2548.jpgIMG_2514.jpgIMG_2513.jpg a fantastic place, the boat right outside the house, private road, and sheltered
IMG_2487.jpgIMG_2499.jpgIMG_2518.jpgIMG_2520.jpg
we had the most fantastic weather with 6 days rowing out of the 7
IMG_2576.jpgIMG_2614.jpgIMG_2618.jpgIMG_2620.jpgIMG_2621.jpg
we were able to play around in the loch wild life spotting or make our way out to sea for longer rows, with lunch on some deserted sandy beach....fantastic.  The boat is perfect it is quick, sturdy, directional in a wind and takes the sea swell and waves very well.
