Measure Workshop Door Size Before Building The Boat

I very strongly recommend that you measure the size of the workshop door before starting to build the boat if you want to use it outside.

Luckily we did and this boat was on its way out.

I'll bear that in mind!  smile That looks scary.  Is that the recommended way of getting a boat outside?! smile

Re: Measure Workshop Door Size Before Building The Boat

The beauty of a light boat is that it can be manhandled relatively easily.  I would not say that it is the approved way because there are other ways of getting boats out of the shed and down stairs such as in the picture below which was sent to us by a customer.

Actually I like his way better.  I am not sure if the proud owner was holding the rope or the camera.  By the way his boat looks fantastic in other pictures he sent.
