Sectional Expedition Wherry

Finally managed to get the wherry out of the garage (which was a fraction to short!) and onto the water.

With a removable front end the boat fits lengthways in the garage and makes room for a new project....one of those paddle boards looks fun!!

She looks great, nice work.  Would be nice to hear your impressions of how she performs and if she is meeting your expectations!  I do like the look of these but am dubious of just how much work work is required to complete one.

Re: Sectional Expedition Wherry

She rows nicely but if i'm honest, it took me a while to get used to rowing with sliding seat and sculling oars.  After a few hours on the water I'm starting to get used to it and can enjoy being on the water.  In the beginning it was like patting my head and rubbing my belly at the same time.  This says more about my co-ordination or lack of  coordination than the boat!
