A boat of two halves?

I am a Complete newbie probably more interested in building a thing of beauty that can also float...

But I have limited space (length) ...

So which of your 2-seater kayaks would be most suited to being built in two halves, and how?

This is a 'starter for ten' so please feel free to answer, or just philosophise on the sanity  :-)

Cheers

Re: A boat of two halves?

I assume that you are referring to boats that can be broken down into two halves.  Most boats can be made take apart but the problem is that they need to be built in one piece.  Click on this link to see one of ours:  Sectional Shearwater

Is your storage space or the building space the restriction and how much length do you have?
