Re: Guillemot build

I've now fitted the neoprene hatch seals, hooks on the hatches and bungee cords.  The plan was to use the neoprene strip provided with the kit but that proved to not compress enough.  I've sourced a thinner strip. Now the hatches are secured, I may well take the boat for a canal launch and leave the rigging till later.

Re: Guillemot build

Toggle made for the backband strap.  This will slot through a slit in the hip brace.

Re: Guillemot build

Part of the way through attaching lines and bungee cords. Holes have been drilled through the resin plugs and the tabs then bolted through the deck.

Re: Guillemot build

The final deck rigging is now in place so the build is now complete.

It has taken a while due to only being able to make progress at weekends and having to work around other commitments.  I really did enjoy the whole build experience.
