Transom dimensions for Quick Canoe electric.

I'm wondering if there is a slight issue with the plans or I'm misunderstanding something.

The bottom of the boat at the stern is 416mm (208 to centre line) on page 39.
The dimensions of the plywood for the transom is shown as 212 to the centre line on page 13.  So 4mm wider than the bottom on each side.

From the diagram at the top of page 23 it looks like the sides sit on top of the bottom (as opposed to the bottom sitting between the sides).

Doesn't this mean that the transom needs to be about 6mm narrower than the bottom on each side and not 4mm wider?

I've built it as specced but it's far too wide.  I can make it fit easily enough but I slightly concerned that I'm misunderstanding something.

Re: Transom dimensions for Quick Canoe electric.

It's OK.  I've figured it out.  The transom goes in front of the "transom line"  I'd assumed that it went behind it.  Doh!
